Preliminary Task - Research- TASK 4 - Aims and Intentions
Aims and intentions In my research I analysed different genre magazines including fashion, luxury, lifestyle, teen and music magazines. The analysis of magazine front covers and double spread sheets of different genre magazines helped me to understand that everything that is done in the magazine, every font, colour and layout is chosen by a designer for a reason. The reasons are mainly to attract the target audience. Therefore, for my magazine covers and double spread sheets I am going to use certain colours, fonts and layout styles to attract my target audience. I am going to create two same magazine genre front covers but issued in two different seasons – summer and winter . Also, one double spread sheet for my summer magazine. The genre that I am going to create my magazines in is teen genre . My target audience are adolescents aged in between 16 - 24 years old .
